Open Blue Launches New Product

Open Blue is excited to announce the launch of their first fully branded frozen product into the domestic and international marketplace. Open Blue, the largest supplier of cobia to the US market and the largest deep-water open-ocean farm in the world is expanding their product offering to include an individually vacuum-packed, frozen cobia fillet that is both Halal and Kosher certified.

Open Blue will be officially launching the fillet product at the upcoming Seafood Expo in Boston, the largest seafood trade show in North America. The new offering will allow the company to have an Open Blue branded fillet land directly into food service outlets with no repacking or further processing required. As a frozen, sashimi grade product it is ideally suited for sushi, sashimi, and other raw applications.

The launch is a strategic component of Open Blue’s mission to further expand into new and current markets by providing a convenient, consistent frozen product that offers unique benefits such as texture, taste and premium quality.
