2018 marks an important time in Open Blue’s journey to realize our vision to feed current and future generations in harmony with the ocean. In January, it was announced that Open Blue was the first Cobia producer in the world to achieve the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certification. ASC sets strict requirements for responsible seafood production to minimize the environmental and social impacts of production.
Our new sustainable frozen Cobia range was launched at SENA and SEG 2018 offering the convenience of 4 and 6 oz. portions, cobia bites, taco strips and collars to our customers.
In April and June, Open Blue was the proud winner of 2 global awards for our Product Quality and our Vision.
Rounding off this summer, Open Blue is delighted to become part of Bonefish Grill’s full-time menu for not jut one but two menu items! Thank you to the whole Bonefish team for sharing in our vision of Fish for a Better Tomorrow.
